WARREN COLEMAN is a leading voice in Montpelier on environmental, utility, and telecommunications regulatory issues. As a former public servant in the Agency of Natural Resources, Warren is a trusted resource on issues pertaining to regulation before the legislature and state agencies. Warren is a calm and deliberate manager with the skills and experience to also lead clients through the complex regulatory process outside of the State House. His past experience in state government gives him the ability to forge mutually beneficial relationships between regulators and his clients and open lines of communication to get things done.

Warren held top-level positions at the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources, serving as an environmental litigation attorney, deputy general counsel and general counsel. Previously, Warren served as an associate attorney in the Boston law firm of Bingham Dana, LLP, where he focused on corporate and business real estate transactions and environmental law.

Warren received his B.A. in Economics and minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree with a concentration in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics. He earned his Juris Doctor cum laude and Master of Studies in Environmental Law cum laude from Vermont Law School.

Warren is our resident outdoorsman and during the summer he can be found wading the beautiful streams of Vermont fly-fishing for trout and in the fall in the woods with his English Setter bird dogs chasing grouse and woodcock around New England. He is an instructor and coordinator for a weeklong fly- fishing camp for teenagers with Trout Unlimited each year in the Northeast Kingdom. He and his wife Roni live in Calais, Vermont with their dogs, but, believe it or not, Warren grew up in Miami, Florida.
